Once everyone is together, we will board the vehicle and start our journey south, traveling along the iconic Route 9 while enjoying breathtaking views of the Strait of Magellan.

Punta Arbol Sector
After an hour and a half drive, we will arrive at the starting point of the hike in the Punta Arbol sector. Here we will equip ourselves and receive a brief safety briefing before we start walking. The 2.50 mi (4 km) one way hike will allow us to observe Dawson Island and the Darwin Mountain Range. We will also see the typical flora and fauna of the region, in a privileged natural environment.

San Isidro Lighthouse Trek
After a little more than an hour and a half of walking, we will arrive at the historic San Isidro Lighthouse, the southernmost continental point of the American continent. This emblematic lighthouse, built in 1904, offers a breathtaking view of the Strait of Magellan. Here we will have free time to enjoy a well-deserved rest and have something to eat. Once we have recharged our batteries, we will return along the same trail for 2.50 mi (4 km) until we reach Punta Arbol. On the way you will have the opportunity to take some nice pictures of the Patagonian landscape.
After the hike, we will get back in the vehicle and return to Punta Arenas. Arrival to the city will be around 3:30 pm, where the Faro San Isidro Lighthouse Trek in Punta Arenas will end.
