Whale watching in RIB

Let's set sail! With a speed of 32 knots, in our specially modified 12-meter boat, we have the opportunity to cruise through Faxafloi Bay, the place where the whales feeding grounds are. We will sail looking for the humpback whales, the most common whales in the area, however, usually orcas, dolphins and other marine giants will come to greet us.

Akurey Puffin Island

Let's continue with the Faxafloi Bay whale watching. The best thing about doing this tour in summer is that we can get close to Akurey, the puffin island.  Our guide will tell you all about the whales and these colorful birds. Don't forget your camera!

After two hours of cruise time, we will return to port and our whale watching express from Reykjavík will be over.
