Pick up in El Calafate

If you select the option with pick up, at 8:00 a.m. you will be picked up in El Calafate to travel the 50 km to Punta Bandera port, from where the ship leaves at 9:30 a.m. If you select the option without pick up, you will have to go directly to Punta Bandera port at 9:00 am.

Toro Bay

The first stop will be at "Bahía Toro". You will hike 700 meters through the Andean Patagonian Forest while the guide explains the peculiarities of this ecosystem.

Calcareous waterfall and glaciers views

The route continues until you reach a waterfall with an interesting formation of limestone rocks, and then follow the path along the stream that forms the waterfall until you reach the shore of the lake, from where you can see the hanging glaciers of Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro.

Cerro Negro

Will embark again to sail for 15 minutes to reach Cerro Negro. Upon disembarking, you will hike 1,000 meters to the base of Cerro Negro, where you will be able to see the Cerro Negro glacier up close. The hanging glacier forms a network of waterfalls that create a river, along which you walk back to the boat.

Perito Moreno Glacier 

The boat will sail in front of the north wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier, in order to appreciate it from up close. Afterwards, we disembark at the glacier's footbridges, where the group has free time to walk around them. Finally, a last boat trip is made to return to Punta Bandera port.

If you have selected the option with transfers, we will be waiting to take you back to El Calafate, where you will arrive around 6 pm. If you have selected the option without transfers, the tour ends at Punta Bandera port at approximately 5 pm.
