Pick up in El Calafate

The Todo Glaciares Boat Trip + Perito Moreno Glacier Walkways tour includes pick up at your hotel in El Calafate, so you will be picked up around 7:00 am and head to Punta Banderas Port which is located about 29 miles (47 km) from the city.

When you arrive at Puerto Punta Bandera, you will enter the boarding terminal where you will be guided through the pre-boarding process. Once everyone is on board, we will start sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, crossing the Boca del Diablo and entering the Upsala Channel. We will enjoy a unique experience sailing among the icebergs detached from the Upsala Glacier.

We continue our journey towards the Spegazzini Channel, surrounded by hanging glaciers such as Seco, Heim Sur and Peineta. Here you will reach one of the most impressive moments of the tour: the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest of them all, with unparalleled views that will take your breath away.

Disembarkation at Base Spegazzini

Next, we disembark at Base Spegazzini, right in front of the glacier. Here you will enjoy a comfortable refugio (a building designed specifically for this tour, featuring stunning viewpoints, a terrace, and a spacious dining room), surrounded by panoramic views that will allow you to live the moment in a unique natural environment.

If you have added the “Lunch at Refugio Spegazzini” extra, you will enjoy a delicious menu served in an exclusive refugio in front of the Spegazzini Glacier, at Spegazzini Base.

Perito Moreno Glacier walkways

After lunch, we will return to Puerto Punta Bandera enjoying the calm waters of the lake. Once we arrive, we will take a transfer that will take us to the Perito Moreno walkways.

Once here, we will be able to take a short 3 miles (5 km) walk along the walkways. This tour offers you different levels and spectacular panoramic views of the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the hike, you will be able to admire the huge ice walls of the glacier and, if you are lucky, witness the detachment of ice blocks in shades of blue.

After the hike, we will take the transport back to El Calafate, where we will put an end to this unforgettable day, full of breathtaking landscapes and unique moments during the Todo Glaciares Boat Trip + Perito Moreno Glacier Walkways. We will arrive in El Calafate around 7:00 pm.
